The Canberra Chronicle interviewed Ingrid about an upcoming festival.

Here is an extract:

The Canberra Readers and Writers Festival will run from Friday September 21 to Sunday September 23 this weekend.

Writers from all over will converge on Exhibition Park for three days of workshops and seminars. Children who attend will be treated to a range of writers and illustrators including Canberra author of The Frank Frankie Ingrid Jonach, who will be speaking on a panel, Kids are cool. Also on the panel will be Ursula Dubosarsky (Rex), Elizabeth Honey (the Stella Street series), Hazel Edwards (There’s a Hippopotamus on our Roof Eating Cake) and Anthony Eaton (The Darkness).

Ms Jonach said that the festival’s kids’ day was a great opportunity for school children. She is really looking forward to it. “It’s really great to interact with people who are your readers,” she said.
