The Around the World in 80 Days Blog Tour
I have been very busy these last couple of weeks setting up the blog tour for When the World was Flat (and we were in love).
I can now announce that it will be held from 1 August 2013 to 19 October 2013 and has been dubbed the Around the World in 80 Days Blog Tour! The title is obviously a reference to the famous novel by Jules Verne, but is also a play on my own title.
I thought it was very apt for two reasons:
- The bloggers participating in the tour live in as far flung places (for me anyway) as the Netherlands. As well as in my recent honeymoon destination of Japan. And in South Africa and the Philippines, both countries which I have been wanting to visit for a long time. Not to mention Bosnia and Bahrain!
- Bloggers are so much nicer than I thought they would be! I half-expected them to laugh in my face when I asked if they wanted to be a part of the tour. Instead they responded with enthusiasm. As a result, I ended up stretching out the tour and decided the length should probably have some significance. Hence, 80 days.
And so – without further ado – here are the details of the tour and the giveaway that will run for its duration. I hope you will check out my stops (I can probably fit you in my suitcase!).
